Aloft Providence Hotel

The Aloft Hotel in Providence is a seven story, 175-key Marriott hotel located at 191 Dorrance Street in the Innovation & Design District in Providence, RI.  The project is just over 100,000 SF with two small meeting rooms off the lobby, fitness center, a lobby bar, a 3,500 SF rooftop restaurant & bar and a 4,500 SF retail space that will be leased to a third-party operator on the first floor.  Of the 175 total keys, 5 will be upgraded suites designed with the Providence Jewelry District in mind.  The hotel will be located across the plaza from Point 225, the new 196,000 SF office building that opened in July 2019 which is anchored by the Cambridge Innovation Center (CIC), Brown University’s School of Professional Studies and Johnson & Johnson.  This project was completed in 2021.
