Dorchester Bay City

Dorchester Bay City is a large multi-phased development comprised of the three separate parcels of land, the Former Bayside Expo Center, BTU, and 2 Morrissey properties. DBC is a waterfront, transit-oriented development located on the Columbia Point Peninsula in the Dorchester neighborhood of Boston.

The Former Bayside Expo Center is a nearly 20-acre parcel of land in Boston’s Dorchester neighborhood.  CV Properties, through its affiliate Accordia Partners, won the Development Designation for the site from the University of Massachusetts Boston in February 2019. In June 2019, Accordia with its partner, Ares Management, entered into an Agreement to Lease with UMass.  Over the next few years Accordia intends to entitle a dynamic mixed-use development that will include office, life science, residential, retail, and civic uses through an extensive design and community engagement process.

The Boston Teacher’s Union has entered into agreement, with Accordia Partners and Ares Management, to purchase and include of portion of their property into the DBC masterplan.
